Having a grandfather who is the age of most people's great-grandfathers is definitely unique. However, I remember him still lifting me high in the air even when he was 80. He's smart and stubborn and even though his memory has faded to the point where he can't remember my name, he always makes me smile when he calls me his Vögelein.
