Saucy Secretary!

I had lofty goals, this weekend, of stripping and repainting the entryway secretary and the dining room table. Due to the fantastic weather and a halt in handywork for a walk on the beach, only one of the two pieces is finished (to be honest, I haven't even started on the table).

I think it's an improvement. I'm going to buy new drawer knobs like these:

I think those will spice up my secretary a little more.

Sabrina, it looks amazing, I love the color! What a fun project. I also love your idea about putting some different knobs on. I've just recently started noticing our insane selection of beautiful knobs at work and am seriously dying to buy up some old furniture and jazz it up with some of them (except not for $14 a knob). I've already looked around my parents house to see if they have anything I could replace but strangely enough all their furniture has handles instead of knobs, oh well. I can't wait to see what you do with the table!

Anthropologie was the FIRST place I looked for drawer knobs because I always love how they look, but the price of them is too much for my budget.

The second place I looked was eBay, where I found the pull on my blog. It turns out that a wholesaler is selling them for $2.99 each, but the same ones are for sale on homedepot.com for $17.49 each! Another reason why eBay rocks my world.

Take photos if you do any DIY projects of your own!
