The Curious Incident of Web-Browsing

I was on Bluefly and typed "Sass & Bide" (an Australian denim brand) into the Search box and I got this message:

"XSS vulnerability found. The FBI has been notified. You really seek counseling or find other outlets for your deviant behavior instead of troubling a small company trying to make an honest living."

Am I missing something?

Weird! I hope the FBI doesn't show up at your door this weekend...that would suck.

Aleigh, Good news...no FBI yet (besides the men in black suits and earpieces in a white van across the street...pretty normal stuff).

Megan, you are probably the only other person who has tried it...everyone else is afraid of the Feds showing up at their door.

It seems you have stumbled on a secret code because if you type "sass and bide" rather than "sass & bide" you get a totally normal shopping experience. I wonder what happens if you type "dolce & gabbana"...

the same thing happened to me when i typed in mat & nat.
perhaps it is the "&" that throws the searches off.

I just did a search on this totally random comment. It appears the for less well-known brands this happens with the "&"

Super annoying and no one should threaten with the FBI for doing a search with the AND sign. (sigh)
