LaCroix water

Anyone who knows me knows my obsession with LaCroix water. For years, my parents have dragged cases of these delicious, bubbly beverages home from places like Sam's and Costco. And for these years, I've enjoyed the same three flavors: Plain, Lemon and Lime. Then, upon living in Charleston for a while, I heard rumors that there was another flavor to be had: Orange. "No!" I exclaimed. "Yes," those wiser than me replied. And thus, it was true. There were four, not three, LaCroix flavors out there. This started my quest...if one more than three flavors exists, then surely there must be more! And, indeed, that was was true. On a return trip to the place they call Publix, my heart and lips found a flavor called Berry. And then, later, my mother stumbled upon yet another great flavor, named Cran-Rasberry, at Ingles in the mountains of North Carolina. And then, even later than that, my world was well and truly rocked: Costco changed up the flavors in their LaCroix water bundles and added GRAPEFRUIT. And then I died. This may well be the greatest flavor to ever be mixed with sparkling water. I sipped, fell upon the floor of my kitchen and wept like a small child. My heart was opened and my tongue was baptised (can you tell that I really like this water?) and I was reborn. So, after years of only three flavors, there now exists seven delightful La Croix tastes in this world and I pray each day that there will be more added.
I am not a paid sponsor (though if any La Croix employees are reading this, I'd definitely like to be!) of this water...I'm just a ridiculous fan. Sometimes there is a product out there that just changes your life and this is one of those things. I've been at my folks' house for the past day and am quickly draining their reserves. Is anyone else as rabidly into LaCroix or any other drink item? A wild fan for a rarely found candy or treat?

I had the same blinding revelation yesterday at Costco - GRAPEFRUIT!, berry, and cran-raspberry to add to lemon, lime and plain in my office cache. Now, more flavors than days in the work week (no, I will not work Saturdays).

Yum. Grapefruit is the greatest.

Finally, someone else who sees the amazing value of this drink and it's ability to fill a HUGE gap in the overpopulated universe of drink selections... and another South Carolina resident like myself! Too bad there is not a LaCroix fan club, well I guess there is, just not officially :-)

Just happened to read your post because I was looking for other places that sold LaCroix water. Yes, I am addicted. My garbage is loaded with cans. Looks like frat night only with LaCroix Water instead of beer.

For those who can't find grapefruit just get a small amount of unsweetened grapefruit juice and then pour your can of water. Works good with cranberry juice too!

Grapefruit is definitely the best flavor of them all - but it's so hard to find!

Does anyone know if you can drink too much of this? I'm up to 5-6 cans a day.

I can't imagine that drinking a lot would be bad for you, since it's basically just flavored sparkling water, but I'm no medical professional.

I drink at least 6 of these per day. Orange is my personal favorite. It is a great alternative to cola, etc.

I am enamored with these flavored sparkling waters. The best part, in my opinion, is that there are none of the artificial sweeteners found in other zero calorie soft drinks. I think the sparkling water might have a “grown-up” taste, I can leave this stuff in my office mini-fridge and I don’t worry about my college students swiping them. I offered them some and they thought it was battery acid. I enjoy Klarbrunn sparkling water too - Klarbrunn tends to be cheaper - at least in Iowa. Sparkling water is decent at room temperature too.

Lime is my favorite, I started with Cran-Berry and Grapefruit. I don't think I have had orange, I will have to try it.

I just picked up the Cran-Raspberry and Berry and my daughter and I hate the taste. I have never liked Perrier sparkling water and I should have known this would taste similar. I really wanted to like them...but they are too bitter and mediciny to me.

I was recommended to try these by a friend who loves them...and uses these as a substitute to pop. He really thought I might enjoy them.

I was wondering if there are any recipes that I could use these in for drinks, besides what their website has, so I can use these and not waste them???

Yes I am a crazy rediculous fan of this water. I am also a purist - plain is true love, but I will indulge in a grapefruit on occassion.

I think too much of any carbonated drink can affect your natural GI system. I drink 1 after lunch and 1 after dinner. Whoever is drinking 6 is probably drinking too much.

(add to prev comment)A chemistry major at the university was studying and I asked about the energy drink that I was drinking. The student replied, "...in general, carbonation is bad for the lining of our stomaches". Some is not really bad, but there will be a limit where each person's body can be affected in a negative way.

I recently replaced my Fresca habit with LaCroix, due to the citric acid factor. I still can't believe it has no sodium. I sure wish they'd make peach!!!

I had a recent health scare- I was sending myself into a diabetic coma
with the can beverages I was consuming- the sugar was over the top.
It dawned on me that La croix was NO SODIUM NO SUGAR and at the same time was the most refreshing-revitalizing -re-energizing beverage that I could think of. I'm a cran-raspberry person however I must confess that I look forward to trying the grapefruit flavor.
Cheers

Been drinking it for years. It's the ONLY thing I drink except coffee. I like the unflavored version.
