Why do girls like movies about dancing?

That's a very good question. I would answer it, but I'm too busy watching a movie about dancing.

My favorite is Strictly Ballroom...Baz Luhrmann's first feature film, even before Romeo + Juliet. The Australian accents are so thick you can barely understand them, but who cares? It's about the dancing, people.

    LOVE dancing movies. and cheering movies. even if the plot is mostly crappy... just show me a bunch of dance numbers and I will be satisfied.
    Also, David and I have been taking ballroom lessons!! It is so much fun. We've learned a lot so far... rhumba, tango, foxtrot, waltz, swing, and salsa.

    Hmm...it's a tough call, but for me Strictly Ballroom trumps everything. Magical realism gets me every time.

    And Cathy...you and D are dancin'!?! That's so very cool. Can't wait to see your sweet moves.
